I often think this is the least recognized but most enjoyable area of functional pottery. I sometimes think our China Cabinet is going to give way under the weight of all the serving platters we have in there and still so many times I would look and wish to find one just a little more 'so.' It just is ...it just is more fun to sample a cream cheese bar with pickapeppa sauce or mint jelly from a neatly fit oblong tray! Let the veggies rip on a gigantic bomb platter, or lift up that 6-layer German Chocolate cake on one of Jaime's domed pedestals and your entertaining will take on a whole new level of fun! Don't buy to match - buy to fit all those different things you like to serve and be the eclectic one!
